- 1937 photograph of the damage done by a February 19 fire to the First Baptist Church at the corner of Cross Street and Washington Street. 83,000 bricks were reclaimed by members to be used in the new building at 1110 West Cross Street. The Geer-Logan Funeral Home was built then at this location.
