- August 1941 photograph of monument at Spencer Cemetery, named after original land owners, at the corner of Spencer Lane and Michigan Avenue. The cemetery (although not the actual graves) was removed and the land incorporated into the Spencer School and playground. In the background is the new brick building built in 1932 and used later for the Willow Run Community Schools Administration.

- 1987 photograph of Preston Tucker's circa 1948 Tucker "Torpedo", the prototype of which was built in Ypsilanti and approximately 50 more of which were manufactured in Chicago between 1947 and 1949, before Tucker was charged with SEC violations and the business was closed down. Of the 47 vehicles still road worth, this model was pictured on the lawn of the Ypsilanti Historical Society during the Ypsilanti Heritage Festival.
