- One set of architectural "Specifications for the Grosse Pointe Shores Realty Co., for a Frame Subdivision Building Located on Private Claim No. 576, 1/3 Mile Past Vernier Road on Jefferson Ave., Grosse Pointe, Mich." The specifications (Job 244) are bound in a booklet that has two brass fasteners at the top. The cover is made of heavy off-white paper that has handwritten text for the title. Printed text beneath the title shows the name, "J. Lawson Miller, Successor to Falkinburg & Miller, Architect." The cover interior and outside back cover have printed advertisements for many contractors, tradesmen, and building materials suppliers. The booklet contains 32 pages of typewritten text that give brief descriptions of all of the materials and construction requirements for the project. An index is shown on the first page.

- Description:
- John Greenslade Oils invoice for 10 gallons of cylinder oil sold to G.A. Dupuis on June 9, 1886. The invoice is printed with an engraving of the company's building at 38 and 40 Jefferson Avenue, as well as an ornate header incorporating a cask of oil in a doorway, a scroll, and several branches.

- Mounted enlargement of a black and white print depicting a north-facing view from the intersection of Griswold Street and Jefferson Avenue (as indicated on verso) in 1837, taken from page 457 of Silas Farmer's History of Detroit and Wayne County and Early Michigan. A horse-drawn wagon, pedestrians, and dogs are in the streets. Several storefronts have been given legible signs: "F. and C.H. Buhl," " McCormick and Moon, Hats and Caps," St. Paul's Episcopal Church, First Presbyterian Church, and Ste. Anne's Catholic Church are all visible in the background. "Copyright 1883 by Silas Farmer" printed in lower left corner. An illegible signature, presumably that of the artist William A. Raymond, is printed at the lower right. Image is mounted on heavy green cardstock.

- Sepia-toned photo mounted on a black cabinet card with gold trim bearing an image taken during the 1891 National Encampment of the Grand Army of the Republic in Detroit. A triumphal arch topped with an obelisk is in the process of being erected on the corner of Woodward Avenue and Jefferson Avenue, as viewed facing south. The framework beneath its lower right corner is visible. The structure is decorated with Civil War scenes, including the battle between the ironclads, the Monitor and Merrimack, as well as cavalry scene. Eagles and stars are posted on each corner of the structure, and it is draped with garlands. A horse-drawn streetcar passes beneath it, and many horse buggies and wagons are stopped near it. On the right are a moonlight tower, and the building housing Hanshaw and Cohen, Signs and Clarke and Readon, Printers.

A Jefferson Avenue streetcar passes in the background. On the verso written in pencil, "Veterans of G.A.R. lined up so that Shilders[?] children could pin roses on coats. Memorial Day 1910. - Black and white photographic print on slightly beige paper depicting the 1898 Spanish-American War Parade as viewed on Jefferson Avenue near Wayne Street, facing east. A formation of uniformed soldiers marches west along Jefferson. In the foreground are people, horse-drawn wagons, and carriages stopped to watch. A Pittmans and Dean Company ice delivery wagon is amongst them. Flags are draped from the buildings along Jefferson. H.S. Robinson and Company, Frohlich Edward Glass Company, Cowyer and Ward Millinery, and A.H. Krum and Company are all visible. A partially visible man in the foreground along the left edge raises his arm, perhaps in a salute.
