In the background are shelves filled with an array of filled containers and numerous drawers underneath a work area. In March 1947, Green received a "Certificate of Recognition" by the Grand Rapids Urban League "for his outstanding scholastic record in pharmaceutical study and...fine record as a pharmacist."
