Dinner at Siegle & Coolers, and our house out at three P.M. Goods there, but house not ready.

The State has an area of 58,915 square miles, and came into the Union in 1837. The State flower is the apple blossom. Michigan derived its name from Lake Michigan, and is sometimes know as the "Lake State" from the fact that it borders on four of the great lakes.
