- National Twist Drill and Tool Company, located on the northeast corner of Rochester Road and Teinken Road. The plant was constructed in 1940 and participated in the war effort, producing tools necessary to the military. The plant was closed in 1983. - Image across Chapman Pond (Chapman Lake) at Western Knitting Mills. The Western Knitting Mills factory was built in 1896 and produced knitted goods until 1939. The building was later owned by the McAleer Manufacturing Company, later known as the Higbie Manufacturing Company, and then ITT Higbie.
