The present house of worship of the First Congregational church on Woodward Ave. corner of Forest, was completed in 1891 and cost $165,000. The membership of the church approximates 1000, and comprises one of the largest and most substantial organizations of Michigan Protestantism." Card was mailed and the postmark reads, "Detroit, Mich., Feb 15, 3 pm, 1909."
