- Woman's two piece, deep taupe wool velour suit. The hip-length jacket is fitted, and has padded shoulders, and long straight, set-in sleeves. Two horizontal piped, slash pockets are at the waist level. A single wooden button is at the waist closing. Brown braid trim is applied over the shoulders. The collarless jacket is lined in brown crepe. The A-line skirt has a 2" waistband, with a side zipper. The unlined skirt is below knee length. The suit was made for the donor, who was a millinary buyer at Hudson's, by Adrian. It was a favorite of the donor's. Hat 84.122.46 was made to wear with the suit. Label: Adrian Original.

- Woman's navy wool suit having a single breasted jacket with three oval buttons that have basalt, intaglio inset in sterling silver, and pockets formed by a wide cuff-like strip around the bottom of the jacket. The V-neck has a collar and lapels, and the jacket has a fitted waist and padded shoulders. The straight skirt has a side zipper. Navy-color, silk lining. Labels: Hudson's Woodward Shop, and Irene.

- This is a woman's two piece wool twill suit in dark taupe wool with black silk braid. The jacket has long, straight sleeves, rounded collar, is hip length with a nipped-in waist. It is decorated with a swirling loop and paisley pattern of braid at the center front and jacket hemline. Covered buttons are at its center, and a hook and eye closure continue into the braid pattern at the front points of the jacket. The jacket is lined in crepe, and is labeled at the back of the neck B. Siegel. This unlined skirt is made of dark taupe wool twill. The A-line skirt is mid-calf length with 1 1/2 " waistband . There is a zipper and button closure at the side. It is labeled B. Siegel. The ensemble was purchased by the donor at Siegel's in 1949. It was donated to the B. Siegel Company for its 100th Anniversary celebration.

- This woman's suit has a black velvet jacket that has a collar, cuffs, and pocket flaps that are ecru wool with black and tan houndstooth check. The jacket has slits on its sides and in its back, and weights are on the side flaps. The jacket has an ecru satin lining. The skirt has a slight gored line in a wool fabric of ecru and black checks that match the collar and cuffs of the jacket. A black velvet underskirt hangs about 6" below the wool. Belonged to the donor: Marie Freud (Mrs. Joseph Siegel) who was born in Detroit in 1893, and married in Detroit in 1914. Label: B. Siegel Co.

- Two piece suit consisting of a skirt of black and white pin-striped wool and a very tailored double breasted jacket of black wool piped in satin braid. This garment was owned by Matilda Dodge Wilson (October 19, 1883 – September 19, 1967),who was the wife of John Francis Dodge (October 25, 1864 – January 14, 1920), co-founder of the Dodge Motor Car Company in Detroit, Michigan.

- This deep red wool woman's suit has two pieces. The single-breasted jacket has five covered buttons down the front and a small shawl collar. The long, straight sleeves have turned-back cuffs. Draped peplum on the back and sides is caught up with self-cords tipped in brass. The collar is also caught up with brass tipped cords. The skirt of below-knee length is a slightly flared "A" line. - Child’s three piece suit consisting of knee length pants, short jacket, and white ruffled shirt. Pants and jacket made of blue velvet. Jacket has hook and eye closure at neck, quilted lining, short waist. Pants have button flap front closure, buttonholes on waist paint to secure shirt, three decorative brass buttons on side of pant leg. Shirt has pointed collar, button cuffs, ruffles on placket front, and three buttons at waist to secure to pants. Circa 1900-1929.

- This morning suit belonged to Willis C. Ward. He likely used it for a wedding or other special occasion. It is exquisitely made and looks to have been rarely used.Willis C. Ward was born in 1861 to one of Michigan's wealthest families of the 19th century. His father David Ward, made his fortune in lumber and acquired and sold timbered land throughout the United States.
