- Diploma, printed on heavy paper and mounted on linen, from the Detroit Training School in Elocution and English Literature, awarded in 1887. The text of the diploma reads as follows: "Detroit Training School in Elocution and English Literature This is to certify that Carrie Louise Rivard has passed the examination required by this School on a two years course of study in the Art of Reading, and is hereby honorably graduated." Underneath the text of the certificate is a banner reading "Non finis, sed initium." The seal of the Detroit Training School in Elocution and English Literature is to the bottom left. To the right of the seal are signatures from Edna Chaffee Noble, Director, and Emma J. Clark, Secretary. Text at bottom right reads "Given on the 24th day of May A.D. 1887. Abstract Building, Lafayette Ave. Detroit, Mich." Text at bottom left reads "Calvert Lith. Co. Detroit, Mich."

- Color lithograph print by the Calvert Lithographing Company depicting the Michigan Centennial Building, in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia, in 1876. The image depicts the Michigan Building with a man walking down the front steps, a child walking up the walkway, and several people standing or walking in front of the building. A Michigan banner is shown flying atop the building. Text underneath the lower right border of the image reads "Julius Hess. Architect, Detroit." Text underneath the center of the bottom border of the image reads "Entered according to act of Congress in the year 1876, by F.W. Noble in the Office of the Librarian of Congress at Washington." - Four panel brochure promoting the Detroit International Exposition and Fair held from September 17th to the 27th of 1889. The recto bears a color Calvert Lithograph Company illustration of Detroit, as viewed from the air above Delray, facing northeast, captioned "All Roads Will Lead to Detroit in September. Why? (see over)." The exposition site, containing the large Main Building, several smaller structures, and two ponds, is at the lower right corner of the image, to the west of Fort Wayne. The Detroit, Lansing and Northern Railroad; Detroit and Bay City Railroad; Michigan Central Railroad; Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railway; Wabash Railroad; Detroit Grand Haven and Milwaukee Railway; Belt Line; and Lake Erie, Essex and Detroit River Railway lines are all labeled, as are the communities along the Canadian side of the Detroit River--Walkerville, Windsor, Sandwich, and Mineral Spring. The verso several passages about the importance of Detroit, the expo, the expo's Main Building, music to be provided by Signor C.A. Cappa's Seventh Regiment Band, and attractions including livestock, the Art Gallery, the Floral Palace, the Industrial and Mechanical Halls.

- Handwritten tax statement written by Eli Barkume of the Wayne County Department of Treasury, certifying that taxes were not paid on an abandoned piece of property between 1846 and 1872, as well as 1875 and 1876, dated November 9, 1876. The document is written on Wayne Country Treasurers Office stationery, printed by the Calvert Lithographing Company, featuring an image of the Wayne County Building.

- Membership certificate, designed by the Calvert Lithographing Company, from the Michigan Soldiers' Monument Union, awarded to Willie Quirk by the Schools of Michigan in exchange for his donation of 10 cents toward the construction of the Michigan Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument. The design includes a central image of two women, three uniformed soldiers, and a dog mourning around a flag-draped casket. Battlefield scenes decorate the corners of the borders.

The illustration on the left side of the check depicts Belknap & Drake's Packing House. A box marked "Stamp." is located on the top right corner of the check. Text stamp across the check reads "Exchange not allowed. Express must be prepaid." The check is marked "The Calvert Lith. Co. Detroit" on the bottom left.
