- This woman's dark green wool day dress has two pieces, and its collar, cuffs, waistband, and front of bodice are made of paisley-patterned wool. The lower portion of skirt has a matching paisley pattern. Worn by Miss Esther Brown, cousin of donor's mother. Miss Brown was born in 1846. Donor's mother was the daughter of tobacco manufacturer and Michigan Governor J.J. Bagley.

- Woman's suit. Two piece. Grey and mauve brocade with silvery figure, probably synthetic. Design based on the unicorn tapestry, showing the unicorn in captivated with scattered flowers between the corrals. Jacket: single breasted, with five self-covered buttons. Shallow V-neck, notched collar. Long tight sleeves with elbow darts, wide fold-back cuffs, very fitted. Mid-hip length, lined with grey crepe. Skirt: below knee length. Center front box pleat. Side pleats conceal pockets, gored back, side zipper. Label: Florice, Washington Blvd., Detroit. Note: Florice: Florence Rice, in business 1930-60s. Blouse: probably worn with suit. White nylon lace. Very fitted. Square neck. Cap sleeves. Side zipper. Label: A Belita Classic, 100% nylon. Note: Worn by Mrs. Frederick Kurth. (b. Edna B. Froelich on 4-17-04 in Detroit, married 1925) at her daughter's wedding Jeanne Kurth Heise, 1950).

- Light weight gray and white wool tweed day coat with inverted pleats on the back and pleated detailing on the front, no collar. This garment was owned by Matilda Dodge Wilson (October 19, 1883 – September 19, 1967),who was the wife of John Francis Dodge (October 25, 1864 – January 14, 1920), co-founder of the Dodge Motor Car Company in Detroit, Michigan.

- This women's gray wool shirtwaist has a round, notched collar. Its center closing has four gray buttons, and cuffed, bracelet length dolman sleeves with a gusset under the arm. The skirt is cut on the bias, and is mid-calf in length. It has a peg-top, and a center zipper closing, with two darts front and back. A stiff self belt with buckle covered in mottled gray kid is lined with brown leather. The dress was worn by donor, a buyer for Hudson's, and was made by Irene of California.

- Woman's black wool and amber brown mink coat. It has a wide mink collar which can be worn up or spread out. The cape is also edged with mink. There are three lines of tucks running diagonally across the coat and on the cape and cuffs. It has side buttons. Label: "An Original Design by Peggy Hoyt, N.Y." Dated 10/20/32.

- Woman's black satin cocktail, mini dress in a straight shift style with a scoop neck, and a flesh-colored satin midriff. The dress has a band of black fringe beaded with a row of sequins at the midriff. There is a zipper in the back. There is no label but there is a J.L. Hudson's price tag for $11.

- Woman's coat and dress ensemble in a medium brown wool jersey that is piped with white leather. The knee-length coat is double breasted, and is fairly straight with a seamed dropped waistline, and straight bracelet length sleeves. It has a small round collar, edged in white leather, and eight white leather buttons down the front with buttonholes that are bound in leather. The coat has a matching crepe lining. The dress is made of the same fabric with a close round neck, and short sleeves. The sheath dress has a seamed dropped waist in the front panel only, and has two white leather buttons just above. Back zipper. Label: "Schrader Knits" and "Int. Ladies Garment Workers Union, Union Made, AFL-CIO, ILGWU."
