Bush says he spoke with President-elect Barack Obama (D-IL) and promised him the cooperation of his own administration during his transition out of the White House. Bush also says he congratulated Senator John McCain (R-AZ) and Governor Sarah Palin (R-AK) for their "determined campaign."
