Karl Gude, director of the Media Sandbox in the Michigan State University College of Communication Arts and Sciences, delivers a talk entitled "How to engage your audience with visual storytelling." Gude explains the power of "infographics" to summarize and clarify complex information in all industries and for all audiences. He says that he loves to help explain things and provides numerous examples of how visualization methods may be used. Gude answers questions from the audience. Gude is introduced by MSU Librarian Amanda Tickner for the first event in the Visualization Community Seminar Speaker Series. Held in the MSU Main Library.
