U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry addresses the media at a White House press briefing held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam during President Obama's visit. Kerry explains the reasons for the visit, says Vietnam is practicing a "raging form of capitalism" and describes the results of previous efforts to improve trade relations between the two countries. Kerry says that the U.S. and Vietnam are cooperating on security issues and that Vietnam has joined the United Nations relief and peace initiatives. He also answers questions from the press about China's reaction to improved U.S.-Vietnamese relations, progress against ISIS in Iraq, and American objectives in the Pacific.
