Weird earth sculpture seen going from modern Jericho to Al Kantara, the bridge over the Jordan. Stratified, seemingly clay with harder layers. Wilderness of small mesas and little valleys. This is really the inner valley of the Jordan. “Bad Lands” scenery. Even mountains of the Land of Moab in the distance. An extremely interesting view for the physiographer.
