Notes:
Decorative fragment which supported the handle of a vase. On one side the fragment is still attached to a broken segment of the vase’s rim. On the other side, the fragment’s upper surface bears a broken circular stump from which the handle sprang. The lower part of the fragment is shaped as a curved moulding, with a clearly demarcated border around the outer edge which coils into curlique at the outer end. Head of Dioysus stamped on one side; the letters “ΔHMH” (Demeter?) inscribed on the other side.
