Incised Bottle; Fayoum; Glass vessels; Glass

Notes:
Rectangular pale blue glass vessel has deeply cut triangular decorative motifs, including four protruding knobs. The lower 1/4 of the body & most of the base has been sheared away during excavation (?), revealing the concoidal structure of the glass and showing the vessel’s interior. The neck rises above squared shoulder, & is wheel-cut to form six facets. Vessel is covered with brownish enamel and iridescence. Molded, drilled and cut in translucent bright blue glass.
