Russell House Register

Description:

Two horizontally half-folded pages from the Russell House Register, dated November 9, 1905--the hotel's final day of operation. W.J. Whittenden is listed in the header as the proprietor. The pages are printed with columns recording visitors' names, cities of residence, room number, and time. "Finis," is handwritten at the bottom of the verso of the second page. The pages were printed by the Richmond and Backus Company of Detroit.
