Notes:

Coarse red clay containing mica with red slip or glaze. Rounded nozzle. No rim, plain surface slants down to joining of two halves of lamp. Top decorated with large shell pattern in relief. Knob handle with single groove rises from top at back. Concave base set off by groove from which three grooves continue to handle. Faint stamp.; Marks: Blackened at wick hole.
