Herman Miller Night Stand

Description:
This Night Stand, in the collection of The Henry Ford, is constructed of a cylindrical metal support frame from the drawer to the bottom shelf. A castano sequoia burl veneer covers the exterior surfaces and shelf while the inlay is harewood. The drawer is a two way and has cylindrical metal drawer pulls on either side. On the back are raised rounded edges. This piece was designed for the 1933 Chicago World's Fair, "A Century of Progress," "Design For Living House.
