Rome; Lamps; Glaze; Clay (unfired)

Notes:
Pale buff clay with badly worn brown glaze. End of nozzle missing but volutes at base remain and part of conventional pattern between. Small air hole in neck. Volutes do not encroach on rim which is series of moldings and grooves descending to plain concave discus. Ring handle broken, probably had attachment. base ring set off by grooves. U-shaped stamp in center of base.
