Comb; Karanis; Textile Combs; Wood

Notes:

A large comb made from five pieces of wood with pegs in between. Tines are worn. Handle has a thumb groove with one incised line through it. Comb has three concentric circle designs on front. The back side has three edges beveled and the handle is also beveled at the end. The piece has been epoxyed but the epoxy doesn’t hold. Epoxy drips on the front and all over the back. Tines are broken at center of the comb showing a peg.
