Vase; Fayoum; Glass vessels; Glass

Notes:
Outsplayed rim. Body is roughly pear-shaped with mould-blown horizontal band around its middle and vertical band from middle to base. Two mould-blown monkeys (one broken away) on opposite sides of base, clinging around vase with arms and legs and raised ridge where mould was loose fitting. Loose fit to mould also accounts for asymmetrical bulge on upper part of one side of vessel. Bubbling and frosty throughout.
