G.A. Axford & Bro.

Description:
Card for the business of G.A. Axford & Bro, George Abraham Axford (1863-1933) and Lee Axford (1875-1929). Their store was located within the Palmer Palace Rink building on the west side of Main Street. According to the card, the Axford's were "dealers in cigars and tobaccos, confectionary, guns and ammunition, bicycles and bicycle sundries, sporting goods of all kinds" and "our specialty the 'Bond' cigar." The reverse consists of a humorous list of "Hotel Rules." (RRP-165) [date is approximate] Ray Russell Postcard Collection
