Ralph C. Sweeney Family Collection

Description:

This collection is made up almost entirely of photographs, particularly Ralph Sweeney's personal albums of travel both with the United States military and on his own for leisure. Many of his relatives are represented in the photo collections as well. The majority of the collection was salvaged from the Sweeney family home at 316 North Butler Street in Lansing after it was sold and had been vacated in 1991; the remainder, a small group of Sweeney, Crissman, and other unidentified photographs, was part of the David Caterino estate gift to the Forest Parke Library & Archives.
