Rome; Lamps; Glaze; Clay (unfired); undecorated

Notes:

Hard red micaceous clay with thin glaze. Long rounded nozzle narrow groove on neck in which is a small hole. At end of groove near wick-hole is small raised dotted circle. Plain sloping rim with solid knob on either side. Plain depressed discus with central filling hole and air hole at base of nozzle. No handle. On base are three grooved circles about stamp in raised letters, ATIMBTI. End and part of one side of nozzle broken away.
