This picture, by M.S. Morris, Herald Staff, was selected by the Black Monument Co. from eight by different photographers. Marble steps lead to a marble bench, on which a bronze of John Ball is seated with a little girl on his right knee and a little boy standing on his other side, encircled by his left arm. Trees are in full foliage. No other structures are visible in the background.
