Lamps; Glaze; Clay (unfired); Slip

Notes:

Hard brown clay with reddish brown slip or glaze. Short rounded nozzle, groove on either side extends across rim and converges toward discus. Wick hole encroaches on rim. Plain rim with herring bone pattern incised in panel on either side. Groove between rim and discus. Rosette on discus with filling hole as center and small stamped circles about outside between each petal. Solid handle with three grooves. Two circular grooves set off base. In center is incised symbol.
