Description:

Two Lansing police officers looking under the hood of a vehicle in the machine shop at the new Station No. 1. A mechanic and another man are also pictured. All are not identified. The Maintenance Division machine shop was located in a separate building at the back of the new Station No. 1. Three mechanics were employed at the time of the station's opening. The photographer is not identified.
