Free exhibition by Harry Houdini in front of the Herald Building. The image is taken from the back of a large crowd of people, all wearing hats. Beyond the sea of hats can be seen a makeshift stage, on which there are three men, two of whom appear to be handcuffing the third. Behind them, at the back of the stage is a curtained box, large enough to hold several people.
