Notes:

Debris from a shipwreck on Lake Michigan on October 22, 1929 in which many people lost their lives. Boy holds part of life preserver. The boy, dressed in cap, wool jacket and corduroy pants, is holding part of a life ring marked “Milwaukee.” The "Milwalkee" was a car ferry that operated between Milwaukee and Grand Haven.
