Spanish American War Marker

Close-up view of the Bronze plaque mounted on granite boulder, the base of the monument to Spanish war veterans in Lookout Park. Plaque is in the form of a cross with a circle superimposed. On the arms of the cross are “Cuba”, “Porto Rico”, “Philippine Islands”, and “U.S.A.”. In the center of the circle are two uniformed men holding rifles standing on either side of a kneeling woman. Around the circle are the words “Spanish War Veterans, 1898-1902”. 1929
