Primitive Fortifications, Viminal, cast side - Agger of Servius Tullius, near the Thermae of Diocletian (behind the railway station), a section cut through by the railway. N.B. Each stone was marked with a large black figure as it was excavated in 1850, to make sure that it should not be moved, nevertheless it was destroyed in 1870 to make a new siding for the railway.; Rome; Photographs and prints; Cardboard
