Letter from Florence Nightingale to Miss Allsop expressing Florence’s thanks for greenhouse plants and sadness at their upcoming move

- This letter to Miss Allsop finds Florence thanking her friend for fresh plants that she used to beautify her room. It also shares Florence’s regret upon hearing that Miss Allsop and her family may have to leave Warner’s Farm and felt reminiscent of Florence’s past visits. She also expressed sadness at Miss Allsop’s elderly mother having to leave her home and wishes Miss Allsop to give her kindest regards. Lastly, Florence speaks of the hope she carried for the war to end and mentions that it can bring out the good of those on the right side.
