Ford Ceasar Collection

Description:

Ford Ceasar was a teacher and school administrator for nearly 35 years and was involved in the Historical Society of Greater Lansing, the Historical Society of Michigan, and other historical organizations. This collection is primarily concerned with Ceasar's publications, so several boxes are devoted to notes, research, the Ingham County Historical Commission, which hired Ceasar to write "The Bicentennial History of Ingham County." The other notable parts of this collection are the Michigan and Lansing photograph series (boxes 11 and 12) which contain rare and important photographs of the Lansing area, as well as surrounding communities. There is one box of loose oversize material as well.
