These digital images were created from materials held by the Michigan State Capitol Commission. and Front: Lansing, Mich. The Patrick Henry Rostrum in State Pioneer Room and Historical Musuem in State Capitol. Back: From this rostrum Patrick Henry uttend those - famous worda, "As for me, give me liberty or give me death". The rostrum was brought from Virginia to Michigan and used as the Speaker's desk in the first Capitol.
