Sepia-toned photograph depicting the manufacture of the pattern Eagle Boat at the Ford Highland Park Factory, as viewed from a point above its bow, facing toward its stern. The boat appears near completion. A lifeboat is at the lower left. This pattern boat was later dismantled and used as a template for Eagle Boats to be manufactured at Ford's River Rouge Complex. The caption, "First study-model Eagle built at Ford Highland Park plant," is on the verso. Lower left hand corner of photo has number and date of photo: 22688-7-18-18. Photo mounted on a linen backing.
