Deep bowl with pinched up lip for nozzle. Bottom rises to form small conical projection. The slightly raised base shows the spiral made when taken from the wheel. Hard buff clay with a red slip that shades to black in places.; Marks: Pinched up lip is covered with pitch-like deposit (material used as fuel?).
