Notes:

Fine dark buff micaceous clay with good red glaze; blackened about wick-hole. End of nozzle broken off. Narrow sloping ring undecorated except for ear projecting on either side, decorated with V-shaped groove flanked by two dots. Broad groove separates rim and discus. Central filling -hole and air hole at base of nozzle. Ring-handle broken off. Base ring within which are incised the large letters DI Letters scratched on discus opposite nozzle.
