- Wagon in Fourth of July parade on July 4th, 1949. It had made a special overland trip from Detroit to Ypsilanti to commemorate the first July 4th celebrated in Ypsilanti, 125 years before in 1824. Riding in the wagon are Representative Joseph Warner and former Postmaster Matt Max.
