Toilet Jar; Fayoum; Glass vessels; Glass

Notes:
Toilet jar standing on four pinched toes, bulbous body with a pinched, overlapping design around the shoulder. Each design consists of a raised circle surrounding a protruding knob. Neck is broken off, jagged edges remain. Pontil mark on base bottom. Pinched toes are not of even height, so the jar is unstable. Crack from jagged neck edge to center of one design. One design is missing a knob; broken away with a resulting hole. Free blown of transparent pinkish yellow glass.
