Fragment; Carthage; Lamps; Clay (unfired); Slip

Notes:
Reddish clay with red slip. Back half of lamp. Depressed rim has raised decoration of alternate circles and squares. Upper half of figures on discus remain: represent Daniel in the lion’s den (?). Very crudely done. Solid knob-like handle has ridge connecting it with base ring. Marks: Blackened about nozzle end.
