A note on the origin of collectaries (books of collects, benedictions, prayers) and a short general bibliography (1) is followed by a chronological list of collectories from the twelfth to the twentieth century (updated to 1954). Various types of collects within each are identified and references made to pertinent studies (2-25). Lists of libraries holding manuscripts (26), provenance (27), proper names, and printed editions (28) conclude the section. and Notes -- Dépôts -- Provenance -- Noms propres -- Éditions.
