Comb; Karanis; Textile Combs; Wood

Notes:
A large comb made from five pieces of wood with pegs in between. Tines are worn. Handle has a thumb groove and an incised line below the groove. The back side has three edges beveled and the handle is also beveled at the end. No traces of paint. Modern repairs in three places (epoxy) but right side of comb is broken off again. Saw marks are visible along the handle. Dirt adheres to the comb and handle.
