Rome; Lamps; Clay (unfired)

Notes:
Pale buff micaceous clay; unglazed. Neck blackened. End of nozzle broken off, probably straight with concave sides. Eight short incised parallel lines on neck and above these, two molded cornucopiae containing conventional flowers. V-shaped groove with small stamped circles at two ends divide rim from plain discus with central filling hole. Pierced vertical handle rises from top opposite nozzle and at right angles to axis. Plain base following outline of lamp has straight groove across underneath neck. No stamp.
