- Ribbon-bound menu and program booklet for Thanksgiving dinner at the Hotel Cadillac, held on November 28, 1895. The cover is off-white paper with hand-painted lavender and white flowers, and with a ivory-colored ribbon threaded through it diagonally terminating in a bow. The interior pages are printed on cardstock. A list of dishes offered is on the first page. The Swart Brothers are listed as the proprietors at the bottom of the page. A list of musical selections and dances to be performed is on the following page. "1895," is printed on the back cover in a decorative script.

- Description:
- One ticket envelope. The envelope is printed in black ink on tan paper. It advertises the "Michigan Central & Great Western Railways" and its "Great Central Route via Niagara Falls Between the East and West." The envelope was signed by "W. P. Rand" for "Frank E. Snow, West. Pass. Agent, Detroit." This envelope was contained in the lead box time capsule that was removed from the Old City Hall on May 25, 1961.

- One "United States Internal Revenue, Receipt for Special Tax," dated May 1, 1869. It was printed in black text on white paper and indicated that the Richmond & Backus Company had paid $60 for a special tax on its business as "Wholesale Dealers and Manufacturers" for the year ending May 1, 1870. The receipt, No. 195, was signed by "H. B. Rowlson, Collector of the 1st District, State of Michigan."

- Advertisement from the Detroit Stove Works promoting their "Rose" model coal burning stoves. On the recto is an illustration, credited to William E. Earl of Detroit, of a Rose stove and text advertising that it is "a new direct draft Coal Stove, of handsome design and appearance, and well fitted. It is designed to meet the wants of those who wish a stove economical in the use of fuel and low in price. It has one of the best shaking and dumping grates in the market, and is a powerful radiator of heat. The Mica sections reach nearly around the stove, and give it a cheerful appearance. It is provided with a Magazine, is thus a self-feeder, and will keep fire all night.

- Fourth card of a six trade card set from the Michigan Stove Company advertising Garland Stoves and Ranges, entitled "Before & After Marriage In Five Acts," drawn by Cassius M. Coolidge and copyrighted by George M. Hayes. On the recto is an image of a man in a black wedding suit and hat holding a cigar while resting against a table. The table holds a bottle of alcohol, a drinking glass, and a box of cigars with "Free Cigars" written on the inside of its open lid. In the lower left corner of the recto is an image of a woman in a wedding dress walking forward while holding a bouquet. The card's title, "Married," is printed in the bottom right corner of the recto. Printed on the verso is damaged advertising copy stating "To be married, turns the [...], Either to scenes of joy o[...]. To please your wife should be your aim, and she for you should try the same. [...] Garland Stove or Range you want, [...] luck [...] forever haunt."

- Monthly statement from Madame Hude-Vier at 71 Washington Avenue, dated June 8, 1889. The statement's letterhead includes a lithograph of a young girl in a high chair wearing a long dress, and holding onto the loose end of a ball of yarn while a cat plays with the other end. The letterhead lists Madame Hude-Vier's specialties as "Infants' and Children's Wear, Bridal Outfits, Specialty of Imported White Goods, etc." The statement lists costs and payments for a dress and hat.

The booklet consists of five leafs of cardstock bound with red ribbon into a blank translucent velum cover, through which the embossed gold text, "04 to 03 Detroit College of Law Banquet, June 11, 1903," is visible on the page beneath. The following pages contain a program of musical selections to be performed by the Russell House Orchestra led by L. Alberti, the menu, toasts, and a list of committee members.
