The drawing (Sheet No. 1) shows front and side elevation views of a 3-story, duplex style house (Building Nos. 102, 103, and 104) which was intended for officer's quarters at Fort Wayne. A typical cross-section view of the wall is shown on the upper left side of the sheet which indicates the ceiling heights and floor thicknesses on each level including a basement. The title block in the lower right corner is partially cut off, but shows "Q.M.G.O. [Quarter Master General Office], Dec., 1896," and indicates a drawing scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot. Black ink stamps and handwritten text in the lower left and upper right corners show "P.E. File Nr. 6000."
