- Pale gray clay with worn black glaze. Lamp in form of head of Silenus (?) . Long nozzle has triangular end and concave sides. Beard merges into neck. Wide mouth is closed, broad nose, deep set eyes, prominent arched eyebrows, wears wreath of ivy leaves and surrounded by raised band. Vertical band handle broken off. Slightly oval base ring.

- Unguentarium. Toilet bottle. Transparent green glass. Rounded out splayed rim. Long cylindrical neck. Constriction on shoulder. Inverted piriform body tapering outward towards bottom. Concave base. Pinprick bubbles. Intact. Milky and dirty weathering. Iridescence.

- Notes:
- Broken off at half way down nose and at cheek bones; nose parted lips and round chin all plastically modeled; hollow actually is just a (mask) shell; traces of framing veil (or strand of hair) on lower left corner. Nose chipped along left side and tip; chipped along left side; lower right corner gone. Parallels for the peculiar modeling of the mouth - upper lip a curved addition not bowed in the center are hard to find.

- Mottled mixture of pale pink-white flushed and veins with yellow; brick color with large blotches of pale pink; many fine veins of deep purple/red and one large vein and blotch of the deep purple/red; all cross streaked with large veins of white tinged with yellow.

- Notes:
- Reddish micaceous clay; unglazed. Late lamp. Perl-shaped has wick hole in top of smaller end. Raised molding about almost flat top of lamp and another about large central filling hole continues along neck to wick hole forming channel. On rim between these moldings is leaf pattern on either side of front, and raised dots behind. Ring handle at back and top of lamp broken. Double ridge on under side of lamp beneath handle and one on either side beneath nozzle. Oval base ring. Written about lamp is: catacomba scoperte sulla Via Nomentana.

- A small stone head the sems to show Greek influence- at any rate not typical of Indian art-was picked up about twenty years ago in Taxila, one of Alexander’s cities on the Northwest frontier of India, by Prof. W. L. Porter, the a teacher at Gordon College

- Roughly trapezoidal fragment, curved. Has much shallow incision: three curving bands filled with alternating diamonds and bars(in units of three). A “V” formation occurs in area between the three curving bands, Hatched bands occur in area with curving bands. Bubbling and much frosting.

- Pale greenish-turquoise; one side with lotus flower design, other indistinguishable. Broken into many pieces, mended; chunk out of 1 side.
