- St. Paul's Church. Photo taken apparently on a wedding day. It says "Rentschler" at the bottom, apparently the photographer's name. A wedding certificate in the drawer says the wedding of Harold King of Milan and Stella Armbruster of Saline, June 1, 1922, Pastor C. H. Wittbracht of St. Paul's Church officiated. The groom's parents: William King and Emma Fliehman. Her parents: Aaron Armbruster and Minnie Falk. Harold is 20 and Stella is 21. It is possible that the photo is associated with the marriage certificate. Note: see photo 1139, Stella's confirmation class at St. Paul's Church. Outside records show that Harold was a machinist; his brother was the mayor of Milan at one time. Stella's father was a farmer in York Township, with German ancestry; Stella's mother also came from a German home. Stella was confirmed at St. Paul's church.
