- Wayne state University's student section of the American Rocket society officially came of age Tuesday, Jan. 7 when it received a charter from the national organization. James J. Hartford, national executive secretary, presented the charter. Sixty dues-paying members belong to the WSU section, whose president is William P. Glunt, of 1723 Holden, an engineering [center]. Professional advice comes from Arthur A. Locke, head of the University's aeronautical engineering department and the section's faculty advisor. From left to right are: Mr. A.E.
