Page 363 contains two etchings representing "Michigan.-The City of the Straits-A Ramble Among the Public and Business Establishments of Detroit. From sketches by Walter Yeager and H. Ogden." The captions for the two etchings are as follows: Upper: View of the Campus Martius, Showing the City Hall. Lower: Custom-House Officials at Windsor, Canada, Opposite Detroit, Inspecting the Baggage of Tourists. Page 364 contains the continuation of an article from page 362, "The City of the Straits: Rambles About A Thrifty Western Metropolis." Page 364 contains a section about "Wayne County Savings Bank and Safe Deposit Building," in addition to five etchings with the same theme, "A Ramble Among the Public and Business Establishments of Detroit," as those on page 363. The captions for the etchings on page 364 are as follows: Upper-middle: A Harvesting Scene on D.M. Ferry & Co.' Farm, Grand River Avenue. Left-center: W.B. - Black and white print of an engraving captioned "The Great Billiard Match Between M. Phelan and J. Seereiter at Detroit - Appearance of the Firemen's Hall on the Evening of the Match, from a sketch taken on the spot," from the April 23, 1859 issue of Franke Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper. The engraving depicts the billiard match between J. Seereiter, from Detroit, and M. Phelan, from New York City, which took place at Detroit's Firemen's Hall on April 12, 1859. The engraving shows the men playing billiards in the center, with a large crowd of spectators watching. Two chandeliers hanging above the billiards table and several paintings on the wall can also be seen inside the Firemen's Hall. The print is mounted on cardboard. The verso of the cardboard mount has taped to it a brief article about the billiards match.

- One sheet, containing pages 361 and 362, from the July 27, 1878 supplement to Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper. The sheet contains an article, "The City of the Straits: Rambles About a Thrifty Western Metropolis," containing information about the City of Detroit, including features about the May-Flower Tobacco Works, Pingree & Smith, Walker, McGraw & Co., and D.M. Ferry & Co. Also featured, on page 362, are several etchings of various Detroit scenes, including Jefferson Avenue, The Opera House, a street drinking fountain, and the Perry cannon in front of the city hall. Other etchings, on page 361, include an etching of the steamer "'Far West' patrolling the Tongue River in search of hostile Indians," the Colonel Edward Richardson, and P.T. Barnum's special advertising coach.
